Hopefully I can get the Star Wars mod to work and see how that is. The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners- Have and its fun but hard to play after HLA and Boneworksīlade & Sorcery- Have it, very bare bones. VRChat -Have it but not really my type of "game" You already listed Half Life Alyx and Boneworks, so I'll add the following that I've played: Unfortunately the market is crowded by a lot of VR games that don't look great which makes it difficult. There are great VR games on PC, but you have to look for them.

I hope they release the move controllers for PSVR 2 asap so I can stop using these ping pong balls :(Įdit: Mods can someone move this to the gaming section. On top of that HLA is not even the best game from those I just listed, if anything its closer to the bottom of that list of games.ĭreams just got a VR mode and I just got Ace Combat where the VR mode is very cool, it hurts my feelings that I have to play those both on the PSVR as it is such a inferior experience. The level of Polish that HL:A is found on several maybe not the same budget but games like Astrobot, Blood and Truth, Rush of Blood (super polish), Farpoint, Wipeout, Dreams, Resident Evil 7 (super polish), Driveclub, and Iron Man from what I can tell from the demo. Its hard to compare Boneworks to a PSVR exclusive because I don't think there are any that are as ambitious as Boneworks, maybe Astrobot but they have extremely different gameplay its again hard to compare, Dreams far surpasses the ambition of Boneworks but its not a "VR game"(even though it works so well). And while HL:A is not as ambitious, the polish is the best PCVR has to offer, the set pieces are fantastic, the voice acting is great, and the gameplay is serviceable. Boneworks was a very ambitious VR title that actually ended up working out very well.

HL:A is the 2nd best PCVR game imo following Boneworks. The PSVR is 3 years older, and while out of the box way more comfortable than the Quest you still have to worry about wires, the setup, camera placement, the shitty controller tracking and the drift that comes with the Aim and moves. It probably doesn't need to be said but the Quest is incredible hardware, its very smooth and the tracking is incredible, also the fact that you can connect it to your PC wirelessly is next level and a step into the future. The problem is that the games don't compare to PSVR games, while simultaneously having EXTREMELY better hardware. Extremely low latency, wireless PVCR where I could play for hours on end. Maybe the reason it stopped working was that nothing saved, maybe it was just a glitch.Īdding an option to easily reset Dolphin would still be awesome, especially for people who mess around with settings and break things, like me.I finally got my VR power for My Oculus Quest and got an Ethernet cable to connect to my 5Ghz router and had a magical experience. I also have to wonder if having a 'reset to default' button would even work, as after this happened none of the settings would save. Deleting this folder and letting Dolphin create it again fixed it. It's not hard to do, you just delete the config files named 'Dolphin Emulator' in Documents, but it's just annoying if you don't know about this folder.

It took me an hour to try and find out how to reset the settings fully.

Except for the software renderer, that is, but even the most high end of processors probably can't do that efficiently, and especially not mine. No matter what renderer I was using, the emulator would crash instantly after trying to open a game.

Except with Vulkan, it decided to basically brick Dolphin. I recently tried switching the render to see how the games will run on Direct3D 11 and Vulkan. You may think it is as simple as just checking and unchecking what it is recommended to do, but it isn't always that simple. That is when resetting the emulation settings. This emulator is amazing, but I have had one problem with it.
